America's Resort Getaways: The Little Nell at Aspen
61Ski Resort Getaways View
What to Expect from Aspen's Luxury Resort Getaways
The Little Nell could possibly be the best ski resort getaways for being within steps to the Aspen ski slopes. Guests just have to step out of the little posh ski resort and in minutes be skiing down the Aspen hills and enjoying the finest powder of the Rockies. Adding to the exclusivity and opulence of the elite resort is the exquisite Montagna restaurant within. It features a 15,000 bottle wine cellar and is considered to be the most exceptional restaurant in town.
It goes without saying that no matter which room you get at The Little Nell you will be showered in luxury. Some say to call The Little Nell a hotel would be an understatement. Each room feels more like your own private retreat with a view of Aspen's great outdoors. Every room is occupied by down filled furniture and a gas fireplace. The most luxurious room is situated at the top floor covering 2,500 square feet with its own sauna and 24 hour access to a luxury SUV.
The Little Nell is more than just a resort. It is staffed with multiple concierges to reserve the most exclusive shows and dinner reservations around Aspen. They knows the ins and outs of Aspen's social scene and are alert to all the trendy shops. Their job is to make sure your stay is more memorable than you have every experienced. Of course with Aspen being ski country they will also plan out your ski and snowboarding day so you can enjoy the best ski adventure Aspen has to offer.
This season The Little Nell will be shutting its doors for three months ending in late November as the management spend $18 million to renovate the resort for a more modern atmosphere. They have hired Holly Hunt, famed for her design of furniture that are also enjoyed by the resort's guests to design the interiors of each room. With the average room rate at $1,200 during peak ski season its only natural for the guests to enjoy their extravagance with an updated decor. Guests who have been offered a sneak peak of Holly Hunt's design could only describe their experience as more opulent.
So if you are a ski or snowboarding fan and love the great outdoors its only natural to stay at The Little Nell at least once in your life time.

Ah, Aspen in the winter and Mexico in the summer :)
I am looking into purchasing at the Miramar Resort Development in Puerto Escondido, Mexico and one thing that stands out for me is the value I am getting for my investment. What do you think about the development?
I might have to have a house in both Aspen and Puerto Escondido.
